WHAT TO DONATE: FEBRUARY
- Men’s jeans, underwear, socks, shoes & gloves
- Usable furniture of all kinds, pots, pans, blankets and kitchenware
Non-Perishable Items
dried milk, tuna helper, canned soups, canned vegetables, canned fruits, canned meats, canned fish, noodles, ramen noodles, peanut butter, cereal, bread, dry stuffing mix, mix, pudding mix, crackers, toilet paper, laundry detergent, toothpaste, toothbrushes, and any other non-perishable items.
HOW TO DONATE
- Non-perishable food: S.V.D.P. box in the vestibule of the church.
- Perishable food: inside S.V.D.P. building, The House of the Good Shepherd: Monday – Friday 9:30 a.m. – to 3:30 p.m
- Clothing and household items may be left at the SVDP distribution center building located on Tara Lane behind the Yard Sale Building on Monday, Wednesday and Friday 10:00 -2:00 p.m. only.
WORKERS NEEDED MONDAY – FRIDAY 9:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
- Food Pantry: Workers are needed to pack food bags.
- Kitchen: Workers are needed to make sandwiches for the homeless
- Distribution Center Building
- Any amount of time you can give will be greatly appreciated.

- Our primary mission is to reach out in the name of Christ to the poor and needy within our parish area with material aid, encouragement, and spiritual support.
Clients
- The names and circumstances of those needing help are always kept in strict confidence.
Types of Assistance
- We provide financial assistance for food, rent, utilities, medicines, clothing, and other necessities.
- We comfort and encourage the needy and pray for them.
Workers
- S.V.D.P. is managed and operated by an all volunteer staff; therefore, it is essential that we recruit volunteers for the good work of helping the poor.
- Everyone has something to offer and you are most welcome to join us with whatever time and talent you wish to donate.
